赤（ピンク）、白、チョコレートの３色アイスのような岩の尖塔が林立する光景は、この世のものとは思えない美しさ、不思議さでした。私がこれまでに見た中で最も印象的な光景の一つです。成分の違いによって色が分かれていた地層が、風化によって尖塔化したもののようですが、自然の魔法には人の想像を超えるものがあります。その後、地震によって、多くの尖塔が崩れてしまったようで、その点でも、人の力を超えた自然の大きさを思い知らされます。
The view of the forest of sharp rock columns of tri-couleurs of red (pink), white and chocolate color was incredibly beautiful and wondering. This is definitely one of the most impressive views I have ever seen. If I understand correctly, there existed earth layers of various colors dependent on their compositions. The columns were formed as those earth layers had been weathered. The power and magic of the nature is simply beyond our imagination. I feel so all the more at a news that many of the columns were destroyed in a recent eathquake.
