ヨセミテは、サンフランシスコなどからのアクセスもよく、素晴らしい景観を見せてくれます。初めてこの景色を見た開拓者たちは、天国に来たと思ったそうですが、本当に、そのような厳粛な気持ちにさせてくれます。アメリカの自然保護運動に偉大な足跡を残したジョン・ミューアが開発から守り抜いたところでもあり、自然を愛する人にとっては聖地といえるところです。
Yosemite is easily accessible from big cities like San Francisco, and shows us magnificent views. It is told that ancient fronteers who arrived here believed that they came to the Heaven. Besides, this is the very site John Muir, a great nature protectionist in American history, struggled to protect from industial exploitation. As such this is truly a sacred place for all nature-lovers.
