言わずと知れた世界初の国立公園です。日本の四国全体に相当するという広大な公園は、地中の火山活動、森林、渓谷といろんな顔を見せてくれます。やはりアメリカ人にも人気があるようで、キャンプ場も含め、宿泊施設は満杯でした。仕方ないので、私は、ビジターセンター近くの駐車場に停めた車の中で寝ました。ビジターセンター近くにはトイレがあるので、野宿するには便利です(^-^)
Yellowstone is very famous as the first national park all over the world. Across its vast area we can enjoy underground volcanic and thermal activities, deep forests, beautiful canyons etc. This park seems to be loved by many people, for all lodgings including camping sites were full when I visited. Consequently I spent a few nights in my car at a parking lot near one of the visitor centers in the park. It was a nice place for camping as there were bathrooms nearby!
