シアトルからほど近く、便利なのですが、山上のドライブウェイで霧に見舞われてしまい、他の車も車線も全く何も見えない状態。幸いかろうじてセンターラインの黄線だけが少し見えたので、それを頼りになんとか下山できましたが、曲がりくねった下り坂だけに怖かったです。
Olympic NP is located near Seattle and easy to visit. But while I was drivng down from the mountain summit, heavy mist came up and I could hardly see anything like other cars and traffic lanes. I was so relieved when I eventually managed to come down to the town safely thanks to the yellow lane of road center which was just vaguely visible, We must always be careful in the nature.
