アジアとヨーロッパとの架け橋です。トルコの人は親日家が多く、とても親切な人が多いです。乗るバスの路線番号を聞いたときには、紙がなかったので、自分の手にペンで番号を書いて教えてくれた人もいました。一方で、自分から近付いてくる人には、日本人を「カモ」として下心をもっている人も少なくありませんから、見極める目が必要です。
Istanbul is the "bridge" between Asia and Europe. Turkish people are very friendly especially to Japan. When I asked a man which bus I should take, he was so kind as to teach me by writing down the bus number on the palm of his with ink. On the other hand those who approach to a Japanese tourist occasionally have intention to deceive him/her and get money, for Japanese tourists are world-famous as good games. We must be smart enough to tell which would be the case.
