行った日は、何か国際会議が開かれていたようで、市内のホテルはみんな満員で、仕方なく郊外まで出て、泊まりました。ヨーロッパでは中小都市でもよく国際会議があり、元々ホテルの数の限られているところでそうなると、全部ふさがってしまうので、注意が必要です。
When I went to Stockholm an international assembly was held. So all hotels in the city were fully booked. I was obliged to go and find a room in the suburbs. In Europe an internaitonal assembly is often held at a small and medium sized city, which does nothing but aggravate the insufficient supply of lodgings. You must be watchful.
