カナダとの国境にあり、カナダ側のウォータートン・レーク国立公園と一体を成しているインターナショナル・パークです。アメリカとカナダとの内陸部の国境線は、自動車や徒歩（橋）でも超えたことがありますが、湖の遊覧船で超えたのはここが初めてです。狩猟者向け（？）に一応税関らしき施設もありました。
Glacier National Park composes an INTERnational park together with Waterton Lake NP on the Canadian side. While I crossed the US-Canada border by car or on foot (across a bridge), this was the first experience to cross it on board of a sightseeing boat on an inland lake. There were custom facilities perhaps for hunters.
