とても小さな国ですが、車で国境越えをしたところ、入国審査があって、かえって驚きました。スイスと外交を共にしているためにEUに加盟していないせいですが、旅行者にとっては不便です。
Although Liechtenstein is a very, very small country, there is passport control for automobile passengers. It is rather an exception than a rule in Western Europe and is because Liechtenstein trusts its foreign affairs to Switzland and therefore is not a member of EU. How inconvenient for travellers!
