「エルベ川の真珠」と称えられる美しい古都です。この街が第二次世界大戦の際にはドレスデン大空襲によって炎に包まれ灰燼と化したのですから、戦争の無惨さを思い知らされます。
Dresden is an old capital town, so beautiful as to be called the "pearl along River Elbe." This town was burnt to ashes by airattack during WWII, which reminds us misery of war.
