スイス、オーストリアに面したボーデン湖畔の町です。冷涼なドイツには珍しく（？）ふんだんな陽光に恵まれているので、町中が明るい感じがします。そのため保養客も多いようです。
Meersburg is located along Bodensee near the borders with Switzland and Austria. It is one of the few places with abundant sunshine in Germany where it is mostly cool and bleak. The atmosphere there is merry, making it an ideal place for recreation.
