トリアーはルクセンブルクとの国境の近くにある町です。写真の門（「ポルタ・ニグラ」）のようなローマ帝国時代の遺跡がよく保存されています。マルクスが勉強をした場所としても有名で、中国人の旅行者もよく訪れるとか（真偽のほどは分かりません。）。
Trier is located near the border with Luxembourg. There are well-preserved remains of the Roman Empire such as "Porta Nigra" (above). Trier is also famous for the fact that Karl Marx did his study there. I heard a rumor that many Chinese visitors came there for that reason, though I can't tell if this is true or not.
