ドラムヘラー近郊にあるレッドディアー川やホースシーフキャニオンのあたりでは恐竜の立派な化石が出土しています。車があれば、カナディアンロッキーから比較的簡単に訪れることができますし、大きなオートキャンプ場もあるので、ロッキーに１週間くらいいて、美しい山々や湖にもさすがに飽きたというときの気分転換によいのではないでしょうか。
Reddeer River and Horse Thief Canyon in the vicinity of Drumheller. Splendid fossils of dinasours have been found around there. Easily accessible by car from Canadian Rocky and equipped with a large motor camp, these are nice spots for change of mood if you are tired of seeing too many beautiful mountains and lakes during a long stay in Rocky.
