動物探検ツアーで見ることができました。前に参加したツアー（日本人向け）では、小川で探しましたが、見つからず。今回のツアー（英語）では、カモノハシが住みついている池で探して、幸運にも会えました。このツアーでは、同じく珍種のキノボリカンガルー（前ページ）も見ることができ、大満足でした。やはり現地向けツアーの方が強いですね。
I saw this platypus in a wildlife watching tour. In a tour I took several years ago (operated by a local guide but in Japanese) we tried to find one alongside a creek in a forest but we couldn't find. This time I joined an English operated tour. We went to a pond where they know there live platypus and luckily found one. In this tour we saw a tree kangaroo which also is a rare species, too (as shown in the previous page). It's best to act locally!
